Iann Barron at RTC
On the 27th June The Real Time Club held a dinner to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. Iann Barron gave a speech which, as well as looking back briefly at how the industry got to where it is today, looked forward to where we might be going in the future. It makes for interesting reading.
In 2007 the BCS undertook to make a series of films, based on over 45 short interviews, each with an expert in a particular area of IT.
There are nine films in all, each about ten minutes in length, covering technology, health, education, transport, people, the world, the information society and IT in 1957 and 2057.
We are pleased to be able to host the films and thank the BCS for their permission to do so.
An accompanying document containing some information about the people that were involved in the film either as contributors or as part of the production team was also produced. Read the IT 2057 Brochure
