Leading IT executive and angel investor, Tim Gregory, has joined AIT as a trustee. Tim brings a wealth of experience to the AIT board having enjoyed a long and varied career in the tech sector.
Tim is perhaps best known for his 15 years at global IT services company CGI. President of European Operations from 2008 and then President of the enlarged UK operations, following the acquisition of Logica in 2012. He played a key role in both the acquisition of Logica as well as the integration into CGI.
A strong supporter of the development of young talent, Tim spearheaded the development of apprenticeship and graduate programmes at CGI and was a member of the Prince’s Trust’s Technology Leadership Group. He has also been a Board member at industry association techUK and a member of the Public Sector Board at the CBI.
Prior to CGI, Tim held leading tech roles in the financial services sector in the UK, including BACS, where he was instrumental in the development of ‘Faster Payments’; Lloyds Insurance Market; and Sherwood Computer Services. Now an angel investor in tech-startups, Tim has been privileged to support a number of young businesses across different sectors, through a range of non-executive director and board level roles.
