Interview with Rebecca George OBE

Rebecca George spent almost twenty years with IBM, as it transitioned from a hardware and software supplier to a services company. In 2006 she joined Deloitte and is now their lead partner for the public sector. Rebecca received an OBE in 2006 for services to IT and for her work supporting the Egan Review on sustainable community skills

Rebecca George OBE is a Vice President of the British Computer Society, and is active in encouraging girls and women to participate in technology and IT.   Rebecca leads the UK Public Sector practice in Deloitte, supporting the government to drive large-scale, complex transformation programmes, for the benefit of the UK’s citizens.

She was awarded a CBE in the New Year Honours 2023.
