130 people gathered in person at BCS London HQ and online to hear about the historical collections of Archives of IT and what they can tell us about past and future of the industry. Doron Swade, Chairman of the Computer Conservation Society, in his closing remarks, viewed this as a ‘landmark session’ tying the discussion of social and cultural aspects of the IT industry to technology.
