Archives of IT is delighted to be partnering with fellow charity Digit<all> to support the inaugural ‘IT Pioneers’ CODE Award this year.
Like Digit<all>, we’re passionate about empowering schools and community groups to help young digital leaders shine and the CODE Awards (Champions of Digital Engineering) celebrate the digital achievements of young innovators across the UK.
The Awards themselves are designed to be flexible and easy to enter. Submissions can be based on anything that the young digital leader has created or achieved recently.
There is a Junior award – for young people aged between 9 and 14 – and a Senior Award, for those 15 and above, in each award category.
Both winners and finalists stand to win Amazon vouchers as prizes: £75 for the Junior winner, £25 for finalists; £100 for the Senior winner, £50 for finalists.
For the IT Pioneer Award, we’re looking to celebrate young individuals or groups inspired by technology or influential IT figures.
Perhaps your young pioneers have created a digital presentation inspired by historical IT figures; written an essay highlighting the importance of diversity in technology; or designed a project exploring future tech trends.
Teachers and community group leaders from across the UK have until 30 April 2025 to nominate their outstanding IT Pioneers!
