Beverley Clarke

Beverley Clarke is the author of the book – Computer Science Teacher – insight into the computing classroom, a CAS Hub Leader and former secondary school teacher. She specialises in the key stage 3 element of the new Computing curriculum and isenthusiastic about Computational Thinking, finding interactive ways of engaging students in the classroom, ensuring that concepts such as Algorithms, Decomposition, Abstraction etc. are made relevant. Recent collaborations include work on projects for BBC Bitesize, BCS – the chartered institute for IT, DFe, TES and Computing at School (CAS).  Today she took time out of her busy schedule to talk to Ian Symonds about her life and career thus far.
