+ What inspired you to choose your course?

I participated in Olympiad Algorithm competitions and Robotics competitions in my high school.  I found out that I was really good at doing them, and I enjoyed solving difficult technical and mathematical problems. This let me want to develop my career in computer science.

+ What does your course involve and what do you enjoy most about it?

My course involves various fields of computer science like programming, mathematics, computer architecture, networking, artificial intelligence, robotics … Also, we have lots of  group projects; twice a year on average. I really enjoy doing group projects with my teammates, because I make lots of friends by grouping with different classmates. Also, it helps me to learn from my peers and improve my project management skills.

+ What do you hope to do after you have completed your studies?

I would like to read a PhD in robotics, mathematics or computer architecture after my current study, if I am able to find funding for it. Otherwise, I will go to a technology company to improve my scientific knowledge and technological skills. I really want to be a professor and a pioneer in one of my favourite fields in the very far future.

+ What advice would you give to someone thinking about studying the same subjects as you at school/university?

  1. Develop and focus on time management.
  2. Make friends and keep a good balance between social life and study.
  3. Communicate with and learn from your colleagues.
  4. Do sports, eat healthy and remain positive (keep a good mood).
  5. Do some internships for summer holidays to improve skills and enrich experience
