Beverly Clarke MBE has officially joined AIT’s Board of Trustees as a distinguished and valued member of the tech community. We’re thrilled to have Beverly on board as she will bring plenty of energy and experience to our charity as a multi-talented strategic adviser, education consultant, published author, ambassador, coach, mentor, podcaster, speaker, host, trustee and founder of the charity Technology Books for Children.
Beverly is no stranger to AIT. She was interviewed by our team in 2020 and in 2022 gave a talk on the importance of developing computing skills and nurturing digital citizenship at our event, Reflections on the Past and Future of the British IT Industry. More recently we have been working with Beverly to promote reading to young students through her new charity. This aligns with one of AIT’s main missions, which is to provide educational resources for schools to encourage study of IT and promote it as a positive career.
