David Barker

David Barker was one of the UK’s first internet entrepreneurs in 1994 and spent ten years working with global corporations including Intel, Cisco and Microsoft. In 2004 he became a social entrepreneur to tackle some of the issues facing society such as social mobility, unemployment and poverty.

Since 2005 David has been innovating new social enterprise start-ups using Tech for Good. In 2015 he founded Techcentre, The Social Innovation Agency, to work in partnership with clients to innovate new tech-enabled social enterprise start-ups.

Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE

Anne-Marie was a child prodigy who simply ‘got’ maths and computing at first go and moved swiftly on to achieve her Masters from Oxford University, aged just 19, the youngest ever. Realising the potential for IT and young people, Anne-Marie founded Stemettes in 2013 and inspires thousands of young women to follow STEM careers

Christopher Curry

Chris Curry was a central figure in the Cambridge phenomena which was Sinclair, Acorn and ARM. He started on the production line at PYE, worked for the Royal Radar Establishment and eventually arrived at Sinclair Radionics in 1966. He then helped set up Acorn Computers with its first product the Atom. Acorn was approached by the BBC and devised the BBC Micro, launched in 1980 it sold 3 million.
