Tom Ilube CBE

Tom Ilube CBE is a serial entrepreneur, philanthropist and was named as the most influential British person of African-Caribbean origin by the Powerlist 2017.  After working for big consultancy companies, he was CIO of the innovative Internet bank Egg and founded a series of companies in personal identity and cybersecurity. In 2005 Tom launched a project to found the Hammersmith Academy, focusing on tech and creative skills, and he is the founder of the African Gifted Foundation, a UK education charity focused on science and technology in Africa.

Beverly Clarke

Beverly Clarke is responsible for the local community of practice programme for the Computing at School initiative, sponsored by the BCS Chartered Institute for IT and the National Centre for Computing Education. She is passionate about computing education and the role of computing at school.

Gareth Bunn

Gareth Bunn started his career in IT at what was then known as the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Centre, in 1973. He was later influential in developing the services offered by the government’s Central Computing and Telecommunications Agency. He then became a partner at Ernst & Young and a vice-president at Capgemini before setting up his own company to offer training in communication and leadership.

Geoff Unwin

Geoff Unwin helped build CapGemini into a world-leading computer services company after running Hoskyns, who he was recruited by in 1968 to work on problems for customers using time sharing computers. He turned CapGemini into an integrated global consultancy. Geoff pioneered the use of Indian programmers to develop systems off shore.
